A place of utmost beauty

So idyllic, luxurious and exotic

You provide peaceful existence,

And contentment to those that find you

All my life I have searched

On the quest to have a taste of you

To experience that happiness, you are about

To bask in the aura of your spiritual healing.

So near, yet so far away

Sometimes I feel you very close,

I try to grasp but you slip away.

So elusive you are!

I look everywhere but couldn't find you

I wondered if you didn't want me to find you

It's like you are nowhere but somewhere

Where could that somewhere be?

Alas! That somewhere was within me

It matters not where I go,

I just had to look within.

I had the answer all along

All I needed was a quiet place

Put down my feet, take a breather.

Turn inside out and embrace my Xanadu

I am Xanadu, Xanadu is me!
