Fairy-Not-Tale
"Fairy-Not-Tale"
For her,
I feel sorry.
For her,
I worry.
The
woman in me;
Who
choose you,
Above
all else.
You, who
would never be there.
When the
nightmares strike;
She'd scream
for you,
But you
won't be there.
When the
night turns cold;
She'd
reach for your warmth,
You
won't be there.
So allow
me,
A moment
of disconnection.
Let me
grief for her.
The
woman in me;
Who
would be crushed,
When
this is all over.
In her
eyes you are a fairy tale,
Her
fairy tale.
A fairy
tale as tainted as reality.
Yet she
chooses you.
For her,
I feel sorry.
And
here's to hoping;
when
it’s all over,
She
stops dreaming and stay awake,
And
remember who she is.
A Strong
woman,
Who grows through thick and thin.
She grew through thick and thin in spite of apparent neglect and conspicuous absence...
