The Many Face
"The Many Face"
Father
says she's everywoman,
And many
men.
His
little queen, he says.
His most
priced warrior.
In him,
she learnt
To be
the man she needs.
Mother
says; she's her princess,
Her very
own protector.
"You
are the fire to the sun", she says.
The
rainbow to the storm
Star to
the dark night.
In her,
she learnt queen virtues.
In them,
she learnt who she is.
A bundle
of emotions;
Passion,
fire, storm, serenity.
Bright
as the day
Dark as
the night
Dark
Knight, white heart.
And
whatever the occasion,
She
rises to it.
Come
feast come war, she rises.
The
knight of the day
The star
in the night
Armour-clad,
jewellery adorned.
In them,
she learnt to love her.
Embrace
her soul
And like
the Kong;
Unashamed,
she beats her chest.
Like the
peacock,
She fans
out her feathers.
They
taught her, be one with nature.
Good
day, stormy day, dark night.
"Fear
not" they say
Like the
golden eagle,
You were
made for the storm.
Like the
killer whale,
Made for
deep waters.
You are
the many face
And
after the gloom
Comes her juices flowing like a river.
