There is a place;

A place I go to,

Here I can be me.

Where everyone sees me,

Yet no one knows me.

A place of simple splendour.

where freedom lives,

Where freedom is free.

Here, the mind thrives.

The heart blossoms, here.

Here, I don't feel out of place.

I am a rough cut

Yes, I am flawed

There's no judge, no jury here.

I feel right at home.

A place I go to pour it out,

To cry my heart out.

Here I give voice;

To my deepest desires,

My darkest fears.

Here, I laugh heartily.

Love deeply, Tread boldly.

Here I embrace life,

With no holds barred.

My halcyon place.

If ever I lose my way,

Bring me back to you.
